What this tool does
The Soviet War Memorial at Treptower Park is built as one long axis, not as a monument you understand from a single photo. This walk breaks it into five stops so the approach, statues, flags, sarcophagi and final soldier land in sequence.
Walk in this order
Start at the plain entrance, stop at the grieving mother, pass the two red granite flags and the carved sarcophagi, then climb to the soldier on the hill. The full line is about 750 metres before the final steps.
Local guide note
This is a memorial, not a quick photo stop. Keep your voice down, do not climb the sculpture or plinths, and allow 30 to 45 minutes if you want to read the reliefs.
