Best use
Open it before you leave the hotel. If it is a Sunday it leans you toward Mauerpark and the flea market; on a Thursday or Saturday it points you at the Kollwitzplatz market instead, and it keeps Konnopke's currywurst in mind since it closes on Sundays.
Local guide note
Enter the district at Eberswalder Strasse on the U2. The Museum in der Kulturbrauerei is free and open Tuesday to Sunday, and the Wasserturm and Prater beer garden are quiet stops most visitors walk past.
