Where to Give Blood or Plasma in Berlin, and When You Can Go Next
All 14 fixed blood and plasma donation centres in Berlin on one map, with what each one takes, what it pays and which days it is open. Pick whole blood, plasma or platelets, add your last donation, and it draws every date you can give in the next twelve months.

Berlin has fourteen fixed donation centres and they work very differently. Haema pays 20 euros for a bag of whole blood and 25 for plasma, the Charité 20 euros for whole blood, the Red Cross nothing at all, and the plasma chains CSL and Octapharma do not publish their rate. Only three centres take donors on a Saturday and none opens on Sunday. How often you can go depends on what you give: whole blood every eight weeks at most, plasma after two free days. Pick what you want to give and when you last gave, and this shows where you can go and every date that opens up in the next year.
What the map shows
Every fixed blood and plasma donation centre in Berlin, placed on the real district map: six Haema centres, the Charité at Campus Mitte and Campus Virchow, the Red Cross at ALEXA and in Lichterfelde, and the plasma-only centres of CSL Plasma and Octapharma. Each pin shows what that centre pays for the donation you picked, and the card below gives the address, the nearest stop, the booking rule and the opening days.
Where the numbers come from
Centres, opening hours and pay were read on the operators’ own pages on 25 September 2026: Haema, the Charité and DRK transfusion centre (ZTB), DRK-Blutspendedienst Nord-Ost, CSL Plasma and Octapharma Plasma.
Haema publishes 20 euros for whole blood and 25 euros for plasma, the Charité 20 euros for whole blood. The Red Cross pays nothing for whole blood. CSL, Octapharma and the Charité give their plasma rate only on site, so the map shows a question mark there.
The intervals follow the German Hämotherapie guideline of 2023: whole blood at least 8 weeks apart and 6 times a year for men, 4 for women (Haema and the Charité space women 12 weeks apart); plasma two free days apart and up to 60 a year; platelets 14 days apart and up to 26 a year.

How to read the answer
The calendar shows the legal maximum, not a plan. A plasma donor who could go every third day usually goes once or twice a week. Haema, the Charité, the Red Cross and Octapharma ask for the questionnaire and the doctor’s talk in German, and CSL does not say, so check that before a first visit, and check the centre’s own page for special opening hours.
