Berlin-Uhr Printable
At the Europa-Center, the Berlin-Uhr tells time through rows of red and yellow lights. Dieter Binninger’s 1975 design turns reading the time into a small calculation. This illustration holds the clock at 13:21, making the light pattern the centre of the poster.
A digital print-file set from Berlin Reels Collection. No physical print is shipped with this digital product. A warm ivory background, dark green lettering and the clock’s silver body keep the red and yellow lights in focus.
The download is one ZIP file holding five ratio ZIP archives: 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, ISO A and 11:14. Each archive contains one PNG image, a print guide and the source-credit and licence document. The complete artwork is fitted into each ratio with matching ivory margins, without cropping or stretching.
Artwork is best suited to small prints; enlarged prints may look softer. Check a proof before printing large.
Choose the ratio that matches your paper or frame and keep the full image visible when printing. For a large print, inspect it at the intended size and request a proof from your printer.
An illustrated adaptation of the Berlin-Uhr, informed by a photograph; it is not a documentary photograph.
